Spring Thaw is the freshest colorway of our Huckleberry Thief pattern: a green and pink floral wallpaper with an Arts & Crafts heart, drawn from the Rocky Mountain West.

Duck-egg bluebirds, madder rose blooms, weld yellow wildflowers and madder red huckleberries trail across a soft light green ground, the color of new grass coming up through the last of the snow.

It's a pastel floral wallpaper with real history behind it, bringing William Morris style pattern to breakfast nooks, cottage kitchens, bedrooms and powder rooms.

Design Details

Inspired by native Rocky Mountain flora and fauna, Spring Thaw features mountain bluebirds carrying huckleberries, wildflowers and trailing botanical vines in classic Arts & Crafts symmetry, all set on a light celery green ground.

Color Story

A spring palette inspired by the natural dyes William Morris worked with: madder rose florals and madder red huckleberries, weld yellow wildflowers, olive and sage leaves, and bluebirds in pale duck-egg, duck-egg teal and verdigris, all on a soft celery green ground. The ground was drawn around Sherwin-Williams Celery SW 6421, so the paint pairs easily on trim, cabinets or a banquette.

Designer Notes

Spring Thaw is the brightest of the Huckleberry Thief colorways and is at its best in rooms with good morning light. It pairs well with white oak and warm wood tones, rush and cane seating, linen in cream and soft rose, and painted trim in a soft white or in Celery itself.

Part of The Wildcraft Collection, a signature Pine + Feather Studio series celebrating the artistry of the Arts & Crafts movement through the lens of the Rocky Mountain West.

Wallpaper Types + Ordering

Available on four materials: PVC-Free Type II and Commercial Vinyl (Type II, Class A fire rated, for commercial and permanent residential installations), Pre-Pasted (Type I, Class A, water-activated, fully removable), and Peel & Stick (Type I, self-adhesive, removable within a year). Every pattern is printed to order in the USA with GREENGUARD Gold certified inks and is available as a 24 × 12 inch swatch, $9 to $12 depending on material, so you can check true color and scale at home before ordering rolls. US orders ship free. The full materials comparison is further down this page.

Before you order

Start with a swatch (from $9). Each swatch is 24 x 12 inches, enough to check true color, texture and scale on your own wall and in your own light.

Then measure. Rolls are 2 feet wide. Every material comes in a 12-foot roll (about 24 sq ft), and PVC-Free Type II and Commercial Vinyl also come in a 27-foot roll (about 54 sq ft). Our wallpaper calculator works out how many rolls your room needs, including pattern matching.

All sales are final. Every roll is printed to order, so we can't accept returns. If anything arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 30 days of the ship date and we'll make it right.

Shipping. US shipping is free. Wallpaper is printed within a week of your order and usually arrives in about 1 to 2 weeks.
